"State Of The Secretary" is an indie/alternative musical project from Zebulon, North Carolina. It is the solo work of multi-instrumentalist, Isaac Anderson. It combines jangly 12 string guitars, pounding rock drums, and airy pianos into melody driven indie tunes. All of the music is done entirely on the analog tape; using the limitations of the format as an instrumental tool to serve the song. State of The Secretary also takes influence from classic country music; using the honesty in the songwriting to tell a story through music.
